CONFIRMATION LETTER

An electronic confirmation will be sent once your application has been processed and approved by Admissions. No notification or processing of your application can occur until payment is complete. Please make sure your email address is accurate as this is our primary method of communication and confirmation for courses.

CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE

Certificates of attendance are issued via email upon receipt of course evaluation.

Cancellation, Course Change & Refund Policy:

Living Well Institute (LWI) reserves the right to cancel a course due to unforeseen or unavoidable events. If a cancellation should occur due to a circumstance such as this, you will receive a full refund of tuition. LWI does not reimburse students for any costs incurred as a result of their prior planning for this course. For in-person courses, this would be things like flights or lodging; for online courses, these situations would be less likely, but for example, you hired non-refundable childcare for the interactive day or you took the day off of work and incurred non-refundable expenses, etc.

If a cancellation by a student is required, the refund policy is as follows (minus 3% fee for the cost of credit card processing if paid with credit card). Student cancellations must be received in writing via email:

Cancellations can only be made PRIOR TO posting of on-demand content or access to on-demand content. Cancellations can be made up to 48 hours before the release of content. If the content is on-demand already prior to purchase, no refunds can be made.

Transfer of paid tuition/registration to another course can be arranged minus a $75 administrative fee. Exceptions can be made for family emergencies, pandemic, natural disasters, and/or illness.

Tuition transfers expire one year after the original cancellation. Tuition transfer can only be granted to other onsite or online interactive course administered by Living Well Institute (does not apply to Allied Health or Embodia administered courses because we only provide the content and do not administer those courses).

REGISTRATION/PAYMENT/PRICING

Course prices and registration policy are subject to change without notice. Course prices and dates shown on registration page at time of registration supersede all other pricing and date sources, including but not limited to: email marketing, snail mail brochures, online brochures, and other references that may be contained within the website or correspondence. Discounts or coupons must be applied at time of registration unless other arrangements have been made. Course prices are in US Dollars unless otherwise noted. Payments accepted in US Dollars only unless otherwise noted. If course price changes after you have submitted your registration and payment and you have received confirmation, you will not be billed for the difference in course price. Registrations are processed in the order received.

LWI TERMINAL OBJECTIVES

Graduation and receipt of credentials is dependent on the approval of the instructor(s) and/or faculty, which includes passage of all tests, projects, and/or oral practicals. All hours must be completed in each course module to be eligible to receive any credential. Any contact hours missed must be made up with contact hours under the supervision and direction of the faculty advisor. Any non-contact hours not completed must be completed with non-contact hours. Proof of attendance or certificates of attendance will only be issued for the actual hours completed. Any time missed from any course module must be made up by completing the missed hours of that course module with the same course module at a later date, as/if applicable.

FOR PROFESSIONAL YOGA THERAPIST CERTIFICATION ONLY

Graduating students must send in a copy of their current license in the state which they practice. If the student is a student of a health care professional program, the student must provide evidence of active student status (i.e. letter from the registrar of the University or other institution they attend attesting to their current active status as a student). Licensure is not required for continuing education courses and to take Professional Yoga Therapist courses as continuing education only. Certification will not be awarded to non-medical professionals on completion of the Professional Yoga Therapist Certification Program unless the candidate practices under the direct supervision of a licensed medical professional. Special admission in these cases will be provided on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by the Executive Director or authorized representative. Only continuing education credit hours will be awarded to non-medical professionals. LWI will award retroactive PYT credentials to non-medical professional graduates who subsequently complete a licensed medical professional program through an accredited university or other program or can show that their PYT practice is under the direct supervision of a licensed medical professional. Payment should be completed online. Any checks should be written in $US to Living Well, Inc. and posted to 10 Elm Ridge Ln, Greensboro, NC 27408.
